However, Marilyn chose to admit that she had posed for the picture only because she needed money to pay her rent. The public sympathized with her instead of ostracizing her.

Raquel Welch was known as a true sex symbol in her time and posed for many photos. However, none of these were erotic nude photos. They were sexy in their own right and showed a great deal of her fabulous body, but she never posed completely nude in her entire career. Even her Playboy spread was not fully nude.

Farrah Fawcett, initially known as the most famous of the Charlie’s Angels, posed for a swimsuit photo that sold over 12,000,000 copies and still holds the record of the best selling poster of all time. For several years, she refused to ever pose nude, so it was delightful shock when she changed her mind and agreed to some erotic nude photos to be published in Playboy. In 1997, at the age of 50, she once again posed for Playboy.

Today, it seems that there are erotic nude photos to be found everywhere of beautiful actresses and models. Most of the taboos of appearing nude for the public have been removed, and more and more women are finding it helpful to their careers to pose nude for the right publications.
